Change preferred interface for a NAS server

Network-attached storage is a file-level storage architecture that makes stored data more accessible to networked devices.

This control is also available from the NAS Server All Details > Network > File Interface tab.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system that supports PowerMax File.
  2. Select Storage > File.
  3. Select the NAS SERVERS tab.
  4. Select a server, click , and select Change Preferred Interface.
  5. Modify the values for the IPv4 or IPv6 production and backup IP interfaces.
  6. Click OK.
